POSH Complaint Process : Key Steps & Timelines

  1. Filing Complaint – Within 3 months of incident (extendable by 3 months).
  2. Forward to Respondent – Complaint copy sent within 7 working days.
  3. Respondent’s Reply – To be submitted within 10 working days.
  4. Inquiry by IC/LC – Completed within 90 days.
  5. Inquiry Report – Shared with employer & parties within 10 days.
  6. Employer Action – To be taken within 60 days of report.
  7. Appeal – Can be filed within 90 days of recommendations.

Training & Awareness sessions conducted :

  1. POSH Training conducted during employee onboarding
  2. Once every year between January to December

Ways to File a Complaint

  1. You can raise a concern by sending an email or by calling the designated person.
  2. You are encouraged to describe the incident clearly with date, time, place, and persons involved.
  3. If you are unable to write, support will be provided to record your complaint.

Who Will Oversee the Complaint

  1. The Manager – Learning & Development (L&D) is the designated person overseeing POSH-related matters.
  2. They will ensure your complaint is forwarded to the Internal Committee (IC) for formal inquiry.

Confidentiality

  1. All complaints and inquiry proceedings are treated as strictly confidential.
  2. Details of the complaint, evidence, or witnesses are not shared outside of the IC, except where legally required.
  3. Both the complainant and the respondent are protected from retaliation during and after the process.
