Dr. Sweta Lunkad pursued her DNB Medicine from the National Board of Examinations. She then pursued DM in Hemato-oncology from AIIMs, Delhi, India's premier centre. She has also done her fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplant from BL Kapoor, Delhi. Subsequently, she worked as a Consultant in Jupiter Hospital.

With a passion for academics, clinical research and teaching, Dr.Sweta Lunkad has publications in various national and international scientific journals and has presented her papers at global forums including American society of hematology and Asia-Pacific BMT.

Her extensive experience makes her an expert in the diagnosis, treatment and management of Hemato-oncological conditions like Leukemias, Lymphomas, Myelomas, CML, CLL and MPNs. She specializes in all kinds of BMT including Allogenic, MUD and haplo-identical HSCT. She can treat a wide range of benign hematological conditions like hemolytic anemias, bleeding disorders, haemoglobinopathies and bone marrow failure syndromes.

Currently, she serves as Consultant Hemato Oncologist at M | O | C Swargate, where she is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centric and evidence based cancer care.
