Dr. Nilesh Dhamne is a dedicated medical oncologist known for his commitment to clinical excellence, research, and compassionate care. He completed his MBBS from the prestigious Grant Medical College, Mumbai. Driven by a strong desire to make a difference, he pursued his postgraduate studies in Internal Medicine at Saraswati Medical Foundation’s Apple Hospital, Kolhapur.

Recognizing the pressing need for specialized cancer care in the Kolhapur region, Dr. Dhamne advanced his training by completing a super-specialty DNB in Medical Oncology from the renowned Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon. In 2019, he returned to Kolhapur with a mission to serve the community with world-class oncology care.

Over the past six years, Dr. Dhamne has successfully treated more than 10,000 patients and delivered over 40,000 chemotherapy sessions, including a remarkable 1,000 sessions in a single month. He has also administered more than 1,000 immunotherapy sessions, demonstrating both volume and precision in cancer therapeutics.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, he has been actively involved in over 20 bone marrow transplants. Balancing clinical practice with a strong research orientation, Dr. Dhamne has contributed to around 20 clinical trials, ranging from Phase I to IV studies, including biosimilar and bioequivalence research.

Dr Nilesh keeps  expertise in diagnosing and treatment of all solid and hematological malignancies with special interest for breast cancer lung cancer and lymphomas.

He has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals such as the Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO), The Lancet, BMJ, and ISMPO Journal, reflecting his depth of expertise and commitment to advancing cancer care.
