Dr. Amol Rathod

Dr. Amol S. Rathod is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at MOC Cancer Care and Research Centre, currently practicing at the Thane centre. He is a DrNB-qualified and ESMO-certified Medical Oncologist with extensive training in the management of solid and hematological malignancies.

Dr. Rathod completed his  DNB in Internal Medicine and DrNB in Medical Oncology and also successfully completed the Advanced Management of Oncological Diseases program from the Executive Education division of Harvard Medical School.

His expertise includes the administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy,hormonal therapy as well as the management of oncologic emergencies. He has a strong interest in treating breast, gynecological, lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and head & neck cancers, as well as sarcomas and hematological malignancies. 

He has a keen interest in precision oncology, with a focus on individualized treatment strategies guided by molecular profiling and evidence-based protocols.

Dr. Rathod actively participates in multidisciplinary tumour boards and molecular tumour boards, ensuring evidence-based and collaborative treatment planning. He is committed to delivering structured, ethical, and patient-centered cancer care with compassion and clinical precision.
